Ink Development & Testing

Today more than ever ink adhesion has become a big issue. With the ever increasing change in plastic materials - particularly products from the orient - what ink sticks one day rarely sticks the next. And while there are hundreds of materials - from plastic, paper, wood, metal, carbon fiber, glass, etc. - there are also many choices as far as what ink one can use for a particular project and the method being used to print the project.

At Flow-Eze Company we take each decorating project as a individual, unqiue project that it is. We don't take shortcuts or guesses as far as what we 'think' works, rather, we approach projects in a scientific matter with testing. And while certain applications may not warrant the care we take at all steps, our experience in the medical, cosmetic, and aerospace industries translates across all industry customers - resulting in a quality project.

Sometimes despite the various ink options that exist for the level of adhesion or other requirements that the customer might have - just aren't there. We try to find the best combination of pre-treatment, printing, and curing options to meet our customers end result desires but if despite those efforts we still have challenges - our experienced ink technicians experiment with different chemistries to derive to a custom solution.
